7:16a IPhone - exactly 229 people in line (security guard w people counter)

I would say that the wait will be about 2-3 hours at this point. Not bad. Too bad I don't have that kind of time this morning. My guess is that it will be twice this long at 3p when I plan to come back.

Apple reps are coming by and answering questions.

Some answers:

- ATT reps inside the store.

- You need your current carrier account number and possibly other info if you are changing carriers and want to keep number.

- Need two forms of ID. Drivers license and credit card are good. Someone says that you may need a telephone bill, two forms with your address on it. Hmm.

Nice - they are handing out tickets now.

They are moving us up a bit. :0)

iPhone: 6:41a. Grand Central Apple store

P171

Morning!
I'm in line. :0)

Aprox 200 people in a nice orderly line. Many people are sleeping. Although, I did not notice any sleeping bags. They start selling iPhones at 8a. They close this location at 9p or 10p, but if you have a ticket you'll get an iPhone.

I'll probably only be here for a little while, grab some breakfast and then head off to 5th Ave store.

The pix is only about a 1/4 of the line. If you have to stand in line this is probably the best place to do it. The other stores will make you wait outside.

I think I'll close my eyes, just to say I took a nap in line. Someone wake me up in a few minutes.

iPhone 4:45 Am

9/21/12
Woke up at the unbiblical hour of 4:45 AM for the chance to buy the iPhone 5. Thankfully it makes it more fun/worth it knowing I'm journaling this and others may read. Remember when you got so excited about getting up to go Disneyland? This is the adult version of that. Eye on the prize. Don't take this stuff to seriously, it's just a toy.

P.s yes I have to be at work at 9am.

Have a good day!

Food Trucks with Kurt

P152

Kurt Robbins is in town for a few days. We hit up a few food trucks in midtown. Good stuff!

David starts Pre-K and a show about prepping for Kindergarten

This week d started Pre-K. The first two days were only one hour only and Anne could stay with him. Many kids cried, since it was possibly the first time they left their parents. D didn't cry and we're not sure he was sad. One reason I'm sure is that he gets dropped of at Sunday school every week and he did spend several months in daycare when he was 4 mos to he about 2 years old. Thankfully Anne is a full time mom now with the two kids.

Tomorrow he starts a typical week where he'll be in a class of about 18 kids for 2.5 hours and the school is a 1/2 block away. He's looking forward to going back to his third day of school. We are too, eventhough he is mostly potty trained.

Anne found this on tv. A show on ABC Nightline of the lengths that parents go to get their kids into a Gifted and Talented program in NYC. Yikes!
